Leaving Aberystwyth we head north and travel along both sides of the Dovey Estuary passing through the Ancient Capital of Wales, Machynlleth, as we head for Aberdovey.
We will continue into the Dysynni Valley for our first stop at Castell Y Bere, a castle built to guard the route into southern Snowdonia.
We will travel passed Tal Y Llyn and head towards Crossfoxes.
We will head along the coast roads through Barmouth and arrive in Harlech to marvel at one of Edward 1st castles part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site which includes Caernarfon, Conwy and Beaumaris Castles.
A tour of the castle can be arranged if required and it is open.
Inland towards Bala and the largest natural lake in Wales. On the way we will pass Llyn Celyn one of the most controversial lakes built in Wales.
Experience Dolgellau, Dinas Mawddwy with views of Aran Fawddwy and Cader Idris. We will head back towards Machynlleth and we will complete our tour in Aberystwyth.
