1/2 day tours – Start at 10 am or 2 pm – minimum 4 hours | All trips will run all year-round | Prices are for 2 people. No discount for 1 person.
We start our journey in Aberystwyth and head inland to the ancient market town of Tregaron. This was an important stopping place for the drovers as they took their animals to market in Birmingham. It is also close to Cors Caron Nature Reserve with over 170 species of birds.
From Tregaron we head up into the Cambrian Mountains along single track roads where you will see the true beauty of this landscape which has hardly changed since the last ice age.
The mountain roads lead us to Newbridge On Wye
Our next stop will be the Elan Valley visitors center.
We again travel into the Cambrian Mountains; riding passed the Elan Lakes and up to Cwmystwyth an area that has been mined for lead since roman times. We will descend into Devils Bridge home of the three bridges gorge and waterfall.
Our Tour will end in Aberystwyth.
